Labor Day with the Lunds

They say when you marry a person, you marry their family.  Nobody ever told me that you marry their friends as well.  I inherited a whole new collection of friends after marrying Sam, ranging from big ol' Utah State football players to mission buddies.  Here's the best part: Sam has a habit of not answering his cell phone, so mine is constantly ringing...do I care that rarely anyone wants to talk to me, they're just wondering what Sam is up to?  To be honest, I haven't decided yet.
Where am I going with all of this?  Well, Sam had some friends that he thought I'd like to meet, Skyler and Kim Lund.  We met for the first time at Iggy's, and I remember eating some of the best pizza I've ever had and being engaged in conversation about the Ohio Cleveland Mission.  One thing led to another, and we decided to hang out again...and again.  The Lunds live in Salt Lake City and we are in Logan, so it's not always easy to get together, but we find time to spend together regardless.  I guess when time is scarce, it's all the more precious.
The Lunds are really cool people, and I'm so glad that Sam brought them into my life.  Where would Sam and I be without them, you ask?  Probably living it up on the coast of some tropical island, but we know better than to leave the Lunds for too long.   Sam and Sky can talk about music longer than Kim and I can talk about makeup, our husband's weird habits, books, gossip, and pretty much anything else.
Our most recent outing was a trip to Celebration Centre in Logan.  Boy, we had fun!  I got sunburned for the first time all summer.  Sky and Kim, if you're reading this, then you'll probably be mad that I'm about to tell everyone we beat you in miniature golf!
